Hotel Policies

CHECK IN

Check in time is 4:00pm.  A valid credit card and current government issued ID is required to check in.

GUARANTEE

All reservations require a valid credit card for guarantee at time of booking.  48 hours prior to arrival - a charge of 1 night stay plus taxes will be charged to the card on file.

“RESORT FEE”

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs has an “All-Access Pass” resort fee of $36 per night, plus taxes, which is not included in the room rate. Your RESORT FEE includes:

  • Valet Parking with in and out privileges, one car per room, per night
  • Wireless Internet Access
  • Business Center Access
  • 24-hour access to Body Rock fitness center
  • In-room Keurig coffee maker
  • Airport Transportation to Palm Springs International Airport (restriction may apply)
  • Up to four (4) pool party passes per Double Queen room type (*excluding special events)
  • Up to Two (2) pool party passes per King room type (*excluding special events)

PARKING

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is a Valet Parking Only facility.  The “All-Access Pass” resort fee entitles guests to park 1 vehicle per room per night.  Additional vehicle will be billed at $10 per vehicle per night.

Valet parking for all non-overnight guests and visitors is available for $10 per vehicle.  Parking fees may be waived upon receipt of a validated valet ticket for guests of our outlets. (Parking fees subject to change without notice based on special events and availability).

TAXES

Daily room rate does not include applicable Tax. Rooms are subject to state and local taxes and fees currently 16.695%.

DEPOSIT

A deposit may be required to secure a room reservation.  This deposit can be secured via Debit or Credit Card.  Gift Cards and Pre-Paid cards are not accepted.

PAYMENTS AND AUTHORIZATIONS

A valid Debit or Credit card must be provided to check in. Your cards will be pre-authorized, through your financial instruction, for the total estimated charges for your room, tax, resort fee, and $50 per night for incidentals, for the length of your stay.  If a Debit card is used for this authorization, the funds will be held, depending on your financial institution’s policies and procedures, for up to 14 business days following check-out.  Please be advised, these funds are held even if a different card is used as form of payment at check out.

CANCELLATIONS

Guest room reservations booked directly with Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs may be canceled up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date without penalty. Within 72 hours, a penalty charge of one night’s room and tax are applicable. Reservations during special events or reservations booked through third party websites may be subject to different cancellation policies. (This cancellation policy does not apply to group bookings.) 

EARLY DEPARTURE

Early departure will result in charges of 50% of the remaining stay on the reservation.

LATE DEPARTURE

Based on availability upon request.   

AGE REQUIREMENTS

The Primary guests on the reservation must be 21 years of age and present valid government issued photo identification in order to check in. All guests occupying the room (including children) must be registered.   

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs may impose restriction on the availability of certain areas of the hotel or outlets available based on California laws regarding alcohol service and consumption.  On occasion, special events are offered for guests age 21 and older with valid ID.  Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs will, when necessary and/or available, provide alternate options when age restriction preclude the use of outlets by underage guests. Please consult with the hotel directly for a list of events with imposed age restrictions.

SMOKING POLICY

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs’ rooms are 100% Smoke Free in compliance with government regulations.  There are designated outdoor smoking areas on property for our smoking guests’ convenience.  Smoking in the room is prohibited and any evidence of smoking will incur a minimum deep cleaning fee of $250 charged to the guest credit card account on file.

INCIDENTALS AND DAMAGES

A credit card is required at check in for incidentals.  Card will be pre-authorized for $100.00 per night.  The room deposit hold will be placed on the credit card during the guest's stay, restricting access to those funds for up to 7 days.  Regardless of billing or master account arrangements, guest is liable for any and all charges posted to the room(s). Guest is further liable for all damages to the room(s) caused by the room occupants or guests/invitees during the stay.

ACCESSIBLE GUEST ROOMS

In accordance with the “Americans with Disabilities” Act, Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs has accessible rooms available. These rooms are designed for our guests who require accommodations that meet ADA standards of compliance.

ROLLAWAY BEDS

To increase your comfort and meet your sleeping arrangements, rollaway beds are available for $25 per night and are provided based on availability.  A maximum of 1 rollaway bed may be added to any room with King sized beds.

CODE OF CONDUCT

We strive to provide a rock star experience for all of our guests, everyone is expected to exhibit respect and appropriate civil conduct while on property.  Public intoxication will not be tolerated.  Disrupting the guests’ experience with inappropriate behavior including harassment, offensive or insulting language, fighting or any other act deemed inappropriate by management will result in the offender being removal from the property.  Refunds or credits will not be issue if removed from the hotel and additional charges may apply if expenses are incurred as a result of the disruption.

PET POLICY

LOVE ALL, SERVE ALL but Honesty is the best policy, failing to announce your pet at check in will result in an additional $100 deep cleaning penalty fee. All guest with pets will be required to sign a pet policy agreement at the time of Check-In.:

Pets weighing less than 25 pounds:

  • Pets must be kenneled when left unattended in the hotel room or suite
  • A Non-Refundable pet fee of $100.00 is required for your pet.
  • No more than two pets may occupy any one guestroom.

Pets that weigh 26 lbs - 50lbs:

  • Maximum of 1 pet may occupy any one guestroom.
  • Pets must be kenneled when left unattended in the hotel room or suite.
  • Guests are responsible for picking up after their pet in and around the hotel at all times.
  • A Non-Refundable pet fee of $125.00 is required for your pet.
  • Noise/Disruptive Complaints – barking and noise that is disruptive to other guests in the hotel is not acceptable. Upon receipt of two (2) noise or disruptive complaints, the guest may be asked to make alternate arrangements for their pet.  Additional action may be taken up to and including eviction for continuously disruptive pets.
  • Housekeeping Service – The pet must be removed from the room prior to housekeeping service.

PACKAGE FEATURES

All package components should be reserved at the time of booking to ensure availability over the stay dates. No refunds will be made for unused package components. Packages do not include resort fee, service charges or taxes for any components included in the package. Gratuities are not included.

ALCOHOL 

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol on premises.  In accordance with state law, and for our guests’ safety, alcoholic beverages purchased off premises cannot be brought in by the guest or any visitors.

COOLERS / ICE CHESTS

Our guests’ safety is our number 1 priority. Coolers or Ice chests, are not permitted on property.  If you require a cold storage device for personal or medical purposes, please advise our management so we may accommodate your needs. 

POOL ACCCESS

Our daily resort fee includes pool access for all registered guests.  Non- registered guests may purchase a pool access day pass subject to availability.  Pool access day passes are only available to adults 21 and over.

LOBBY ATTIRE

Proper attire, including shirt and shoes, is required in the lobby and indoor common areas.

MINIBAR RESTOCKING FEE

Our mini bars are stocked for the convenience of our guests. Should the guest decide to move items in order to store personal items, a $55 restocking fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • Mini fridges are available upon request for $25 per stay. 

EXTRA CHARGES

  • Resort Fee:  $36+tax per night
  • Rollaway:  $25+tax per night
  • Mini Fridge: $25+tax per stay
  • Parking, additional vehicles:  $10+tax per car, per night
  • Crib:  currently no charge
  • Mini Bar Re-stocking Fee: $55+tax
